Two arrested for RAPING minor in South Delhi.

SOUTH DELHI,

An 18-year old GIRL alleged that she was GANG-RAPED by three men when she was a minor in South-East Delhi's Govindpuri area. The WOMAN had filed a zero FIR on March 29 in Jaipur after which the case was transferred to Delhi on March 31. The police arrested two of the accused men. According to the police the victim alleged that she was 17-years-old  when she was brought to Delhi on the pretext of providing her employment. The GIRL told the police that she was brought to Delhi from West Bengal with the promise for giving her a job by a man identified as Ashiqui Sheikh alias Raju (24) around five months back. Sheikh kept the WOMAN at his residence where he along with his associates Raju Sheikh (30) and an unknown friend made SEXUAL relationship with her without her will. "A case under sections 376-D (gang-rape), 323 (voluntarily causing hurt), 342 ( Punishment for wrongful confinement) was registered. Section 6 of POCSO was also added as the GIRL was a minor when the incident took place," said a senior police officer.

Why are RAPE victims scared of timely reporting the crime? Are they scared of victim being blamed or the loss of their reputation?

Teacher in Sambhal arrested for SEXUALLY MOLESTING student in school.

UTTAR-PRADESH, A case of SEXUAL MOLESTATION of an 11- year old by a primary school teacher in Sambhal has emerged.The incident took place in Thana Rajpura area of Sambhal district. It is alleged that the student of class 4 was called by the accused teacher Kailash Chandra, in the pretext of feeding sweets in his office. He then began touching her inappropriately. The little GIRL started yelling because of which the teacher had to let go of her.The GIRL went home and narrated the entire incident to her parents.
