Dalit WOMAN abducted, GANG-RAPED at gunpoint in Patiala, 6 booked.

In a shocking incident, a 36-year-old married Dalit WOMAN was GANG-RAPED by six people in Patiala district, which happens to be the hometown of Punjab Chief Minister, Captain Amarinder Singh. The incident took place on last Friday when the victim was alone at her home. According to the FIR, six armed people allegedly abducted the victim at a gunpoint. She was forcibly lifted into a vehicle and was taken to a flour mill where she was abused, manhandled and later GANG-RAPED by the accused who belong to the victim's village. In an FIR registered at Shambhu police station, the victim's husband has accused the Patiala Police of inaction saying the police was deliberately delaying the arrest of the accused as they belong to influential political families and were roaming free. Victim's husband works in Dubai and had returned to the village a few days back. He was not at home at the time of the incident. Patiala Police has registered a case under section 376 of IPC along with relevant sections of SC/ST. The accused also allegedly made derogatory casteist remarks against the victim. The victim, according to the police sources, has been admitted to a hospital. The police could not conduct her medical examination on Monday after a shutdown call was given by the Dalit organisations.

Teacher in Sambhal arrested for SEXUALLY MOLESTING student in school.

UTTAR-PRADESH, A case of SEXUAL MOLESTATION of an 11- year old by a primary school teacher in Sambhal has emerged.The incident took place in Thana Rajpura area of Sambhal district. It is alleged that the student of class 4 was called by the accused teacher Kailash Chandra, in the pretext of feeding sweets in his office. He then began touching her inappropriately.
