Marriage not a contract for legal SEXUAL pleasure: Delhi court.

NEW DELHI,

While marital RAPE is yet to be criminalised, in a rare judgement, a family court in Delhi has acknowledged the indulgence of marital RAPE by husband who had filed a divorce plea seeking separation from his wife for allegedly being deserted and put through cruelty by her. It ruled that it was he who was inflicting abusive and humiliating treatment to his wife by committing extreme acts of SEXUAL ABUSE and domestic violence and cannot take advantage of his own wrongs.The court in its observations mentioned, "Although in our country marital RAPE is not considered as an offence, it constitutes inflicting mental cruelty as it connotes lack of respect, dignity and sensitivity towards the wife and violates of the right to life and liberty as enshrined in the Constitution of India."

It feels good to note that WOMEN are coming forward to complain about the SEXUAL HARASSMENT by the husband. It is equally appreciable that the court has also recognised the rights of the WOMEN. When will marital RAPE be considered a punishable offence?

Teacher in Sambhal arrested for SEXUALLY MOLESTING student in school.

UTTAR-PRADESH, A case of SEXUAL MOLESTATION of an 11- year old by a primary school teacher in Sambhal has emerged.The incident took place in Thana Rajpura area of Sambhal district. It is alleged that the student of class 4 was called by the accused teacher Kailash Chandra, in the pretext of feeding sweets in his office. He then began touching her inappropriately. The little GIRL started yelling because of which the teacher had to let go of her.The GIRL went home and narrated the entire incident to her parents. The family filed a complaint against the accused teacher, who was later arrested by the police. It is need of the hour to teach minor GIRLS about good touch and bad touch.
