Kerala man slashes toddler after mother resists RAPE.

KERELA,

A week after a tribal man was brutally beaten to death by an unruly mob in Palakkad district, and weeks after a Youth Congress worker was hacked to death in Kannur district, another brutal crime has come to light, now from Manjeri in Kerala's Malappuram district. A man, who tried to SEXUALLY ASSAULT a WOMAN, slashed the leg of her toddler, to avenge his failed attempt.The accused, now identified as Ayub, is a habitual offender.The WOMAN, a homeless, who lives in Manjeri's IGBT bus stand, was attacked by Ayub but faced resistance from her and her son. A Malayala Manorama report said 'Ayub drew out a knife and inflicted a deep cut' on the nine-month-old baby GIRL'S leg to avenge his failed RAPE attempt. The WOMAN and son escaped uninjured, local media reports said.The WOMAN'S husband lodged a complaint with the police but said that the force failed to act despite informing them about the attack shortly after the attack.The report also said that efforts are being made to shift the injured child and the mother to a rescue home.

It is sad that police didn't provide any timely help to the family. Is police appointed to react only to protect the rich and influential people?

Teacher in Sambhal arrested for SEXUALLY MOLESTING student in school.

UTTAR-PRADESH, A case of SEXUAL MOLESTATION of an 11- year old by a primary school teacher in Sambhal has emerged.The incident took place in Thana Rajpura area of Sambhal district. It is alleged that the student of class 4 was called by the accused teacher Kailash Chandra, in the pretext of feeding sweets in his office. He then began touching her inappropriately. The little GIRL started yelling because of which the teacher had to let go of her.The GIRL went home and narrated the entire incident to her parents.
