DU student alleges MOLESTATION inside moving bus.

SEXUAL HARASSMENT against WOMEN on public transport or in public places continues to happen in the national capital city, Delhi. In one of the latest of such incidents, a Delhi University student has filmed a man masturbating right next to her on a crowded Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC) bus, the video of which was posted on the social media by her.“I felt the man next to me do something and touch my waist with his elbow. It felt a bit weird so I decided to record on my phone. He was masturbating,” the student reportedly told NDTV. The WOMAN has alleged that the man also tried to touch her.“I raised an alarm and shouted at him too. No one in the bus said a word. He retorted saying,"I should get out if I have a problem,” she said. She went to the police station three days later to file a complaint for SEXUAL HARASSMENT and public obscenity. Shockingly, adding layers to her disturbing experience, the police allegedly made her wait for nearly seven hours to record her complaint. “They asked me why I didn’t come earlier." On the bus I felt disgusted and traumatized and then again at the police station. Why is it this tough for GIRLS to come out and complain?”, the WOMAN lamented. Meanwhile, the man, clearly seen in the video clip, is yet to be arrested despite almost a week after the incident. The incident has once again reinforced questions surrounding the safety of WOMEN in the capital city. Despite an assurance by Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal a few years ago, there were no marshals in the bus and no CCTV either still.

When will the WOMEN in the capital city and across India stop facing this kind of HARASSMENT? When will society raise their voice against these kind of acts being performed infront of them? Appreciation to this GIRL who reported this incident to bring lack of empathy among the public! Shall we keep quiet like this if the same incident happened to our own loved ones? Why didn't anyone in the bus support the GIRL?

Her family came to attend a wedding in February before the lockdown. That’s where this incident happen. The guy came and took her from her mother’s lap in order to play with her.  2 hours later when they decided to go hone, They started looking for her and the cousin but both were no where to be found.
