Two Male Nurses Drug and SEXUALLY ASSAULTED 16-Year-Old GIRL in the ICU.

A 16-year-old patient was assaulted by two male nurses working at the Shiva Hospital, Gurugram while she was in the ICU. Geeta, who was admitted to the ICU of Shiva hospital on 16 November, had called for help when one of the accused took advantage of her situation and assaulted her, TOI reported.The two accused have been arrested and sent into judicial custody. Geeta was admitted into the ICU after she mistakenly drank pesticide thinking it was coke. Later that night, she had reportedly called for help, when Ravi, one of the nurses, responded and instead of helping her, took advantage of the patient’s weakened state." Are you married? You look like you are." After reportedly saying this, Ravi, one of the accused settled onto her bed and started touching her inappropriately. Geeta, who was unable to move because of the drips attached to her, cried out and was heard by another nurse. The other accused, Kuldeep, also came in and allegedly joined Ravi in the assault. A little later she felt an injection, and went into a semi-conscious state.Geeta said,"I could see what was happening as they forced themselves on me, and tried dragging me to the toilet. I struggled with whatever strength I had within me. The last thing I remember was Kuldeep on my bed and Ravi on the other bed with a phone in his hand." The nurses had threatened to kill her, she says, if she tried to resist and she could not reach out to her father who was present in the hospital at the time. After the attempt, she said that they tried to put her back into the bed but she either already lost consciousness or had fallen asleep. She was briefly awake in the morning, and faintly remembers seeing her mother. When Geeta finally woke up, she was already at home.The incident did not end there, and Geeta says that she received disturbing phone calls from the accused, until she finally told her mother, who reported it to the police. Almost 10 days had already passed since the incident had occurred.The police arrested Kuldeep and Ravi, who were produced in front of a city court and sent into Judicial custody.However, police have not charged the nurses under Section 354 of the IPC, the law that deals with SEXUAL assault. Instead the nurses have been charged under sections 328 (causing hurt by poison, etc) and 506 (criminal intimidation) of the IPC and Section 10 of the POCSO (Protection of Children from Sexual Offences) Act. Dr Manoj, Administrative Head of the private hospital, said, "We have sacked the nurses, who have also been arrested. We'll extend all possible help to police in their probe," he added.Inspector Bhartendra Singh, SHO of Sector 14 police station, told TOI, "This is a serious case, in which the hospital management's role can't be ignored. We have sought CCTV footage from them. If we find any foul play by the hospital, action will be taken as per law."

A patient in ICU was SEXUALLY ASSAULTED because she was a GIRL. How can anyone even think of doing this with a weak and  helpless person who is dependent on your care and support? Whom to trust? The GIRL'S father was in the same hospital, but he also had full trust in the hospital staff. These kind of incidents are so shocking that creates fear and anxiety in minds of parents. Where are the GIRLS safe?

Teacher in Sambhal arrested for SEXUALLY MOLESTING student in school.

UTTAR-PRADESH, A case of SEXUAL MOLESTATION of an 11- year old by a primary school teacher in Sambhal has emerged.The incident took place in Thana Rajpura area of Sambhal district. It is alleged that the student of class 4 was called by the accused teacher Kailash Chandra, in the pretext of feeding sweets in his office. He then began touching her inappropriately.
