Man held for RAPE of minor GIRL in Jajpur district.

The police have arrested a man on charges of RAPING an 11-year-old GIRL at Bitana village under Binjharpur police station limits in Odisha's Jajpur district. The accused, arrested last night, is from the same village, police said.In his complaint filed with the Binjharpur police, the victim's father said the GIRL was RAPED at the man's shop at Bitana market when she had gone there to buy chocolates with her 9-year-old younger sister. The minor GIRL had gone to the local market to make photocopies of her father's documents with her younger sister on Sunday afternoon. After it was over, the two sisters went to the shop to buy chocolates, police said. "The accused took the two GIRLS into a room in the pretext of giving them best quality chocolates and tried to molest them. The younger sister managed to come out of the room by biting the accused. The accused took advantage of it and RAPED the 11-year-old girl," said A.K Mohanty, Inspector-in-Charge of Binjharpur police station. The younger sister, who managed to escape, narrated the incident to her parents. Family members accompanied by locals caught hold of the accused and rescued the victim from his room. Aggrieved over the incident, the locals allegedly beat up the accused and ransacked his shop. On being informed, local Alkund beat house police reached the spot and brought the accused to the Binjharpur police station. Based on the FIR filed by the father of the victim, police arrested the accused last night. Police conducted medical examination on the victim and the accused today. Later, police forwarded the accused to the local court and he was remanded to judicial custody after his bail plea was rejected, police said.

What a shameless man? Even when he knew that the younger sister has managed to run away and would tell others. He still committed the crime with the elder sister. He had completely lost his senses or he was not at all afraid of the law. Why should he be? He knows that in this country a RAPIST can easily escape punishment because the family of the victim is so scared of the social stigma that they donot complain. Even if they complain the courts take such a long time to decide that the family gives up. Is the law favouring the RAPIST or the victim? Just think about!

Her family came to attend a wedding in February before the lockdown. That’s where this incident happen. The guy came and took her from her mother’s lap in order to play with her.  2 hours later when they decided to go hone, They started looking for her and the cousin but both were no where to be found.
