Crime against GIRLS on rise in Chandigarh.

A few days ago a GIRL was RAPED in an auto and a lot was said in about the security measures taken by the administration and police to protect the GIRLS. It was said that the GIRL should have not got into the auto having three men already inside it. And even if she did so she could have called the police for help. Just read this experience of a GIRL of Chd. and see how good the arrangements are.....This is what a GIRL shared on the social site.
She writes...Do not teach our GIRLS to not go out in the dark rather teach our boys to have respectful eyes for every other GIRL as they have it for their sisters. Listened a lot like this before haina? But when are we actually going to take this into action n stop just pretending that we mean it. I guess its the high time to change this name “the city beautiful Chandigarh” to the new another RAPE capital of lndia after Delhi!. Must be all shocked right!? Guess who’s on the mark again? 19 year old girl! Yes, you heard that right. Heart wrenching to write today that me, just another GIRL is added to this list of thousands of those eve-teased GIRLS on daily basis and that to at a place like “Chandigarh” which you call “safe” for GIRLS at night as well! Lol. It was 7:24p.m of this beautiful evening 5th December when me (resident of sector 36-A) with my friend were coming back to our residence from a near-by market. Being residing near this very famous all GIRLS college MCM DAV we are so used to see endless number of cars roaming around in the sector whole day long. We are actually so used to it that we know how to ignore this all. But being a GIRL I guess you have this little power or 6th sense I should say that we can sense if something or someone has this negative vibe, negative intentions or negative approach towards any one of us. So it was when we were returning, walking on the main road of the clg we saw that none of the streets lights were in action. We’ve been living here since so long so we knew that where its safe to walk and where its not and we choose the main road as it was the only 24*7 working way to the residence with a PCR that stands mostly in front of the clg gate. We were walking normally when we realised that there wasn’t a single car or vehicle in sight, but we were pretty sure of the PCR on the clg gate so wasn’t scared much (PCR wasn't there today though). Then it was there this car (hyundai verna) couldn’t even see the number due to the darkness just stopped a little ahead of us. Keeping our safety in concern we went to the front gate of the clg where there was light, feeling safe we decided to move further towards the PG where on the way is a verka booth, the verka uncle was standing there and doing some work so we stood there for a while with him but now being extremely scared because that car was parked near us changing its location around us only. There were 3 people in the car and stared us continuously. They parked the car right in front of us blocking our way back with the headlights on and we couldn’t see the number. There were no lights, no vehicle or no person in sight now. Maybe this was the time we thought the worst could happen with us but then bygod’s grace an old uncle was eve walking and we asked him to drop us to our residence. As soon as they saw us going with the uncle they finally left. Couldn’t breathe for a moment but i guess we are fine enough and i could write this to bring in to the eyes of everyone. Not to forget that we tried to contact women helpline numbers, police number but didn't get any response as all the lines were busy. (Hereby attaching the call logs too). Ending on the worst part when we contacted a PCR they straight to our face said “ hum to apna kam kr he rhe hai, street lights ka hum kya kre” that too in the harshest tone ever but not to deny that they too said they'll look for that car in the Sector.
Lets just clap for my country once.

How safe this beautiful city is? How alert and helpful police is to provide safety to GIRLS? How efficient the government machinery is?

Teacher in Sambhal arrested for SEXUALLY MOLESTING student in school.

UTTAR-PRADESH, A case of SEXUAL MOLESTATION of an 11- year old by a primary school teacher in Sambhal has emerged.The incident took place in Thana Rajpura area of Sambhal district. It is alleged that the student of class 4 was called by the accused teacher Kailash Chandra, in the pretext of feeding sweets in his office. He then began touching her inappropriately. The little GIRL started yelling because of which the teacher had to let go of her.The GIRL went home and narrated the entire incident to her parents. The family filed a complaint against the accused teacher, who was later arrested by the police. It is need of the hour to teach minor GIRLS about good touch and bad touch.
