9-year-old GIRL RAPED by her uncle in Bundi.

A nine-year-old GIRL from Harijan community, a class III student, was on Saturday night RAPED by her uncle while she was studying in her room in Ramajpura village under Indergarh police station area of Bundi district. The statements of the victim before magistrate under section 164 were on Monday recorded at court in Keshoraipatan town of the district, the accused in the matter, however, has not been arrested so far.The class III student was late on Saturday evening RAPED by her uncle in her room at her home in Ramajpura village, said Sri Krishan Garwal, SHO at Indergarh police station. The victim, at the time of crime, was studying in her room while her uncle identified as Mukesh Harijan (22), a resident of nearby Mohanpura village, was watching TV in the same room, he said. The accused bolted the room from inside and allegedly RAPED her, the SHO said. The victim narrated her plight to her parents when they returned home late at night following which they approached the police station and lodged a case of RAPE against the accused uncle Mukesh Harijan.

The GIRLS are not safe even with their own family members. Parents are scared to send them out for the fear of strangers. But who will save them from their own relatives?

Her family came to attend a wedding in February before the lockdown. That’s where this incident happen. The guy came and took her from her mother’s lap in order to play with her.  2 hours later when they decided to go hone, They started looking for her and the cousin but both were no where to be found.
