Kirron Kher stirs controversy with advice to Chandigarh GANG-RAPE victim.

CHANDIGARH,

MP Kirron Kher during a function at the Press Club, Chd. said that the 22- year old WOMAN who was GANG-RAPED allegedly by an autodriver and his two accomplices should not have boarded the vehicle when she saw three men already sitting in it. She said that it was necessary that people should educate their boys to prevent such crimes, but at the same time GIRLS too should be alert and aware. Kher quoted from her own commuting experience, "I remember as a GIRL, whenever we took a taxi in Mumbai, we used to let someone know the taxi number... I feel that in these times. We also have to be more careful about these things.The MP said that she "really felt sad for the victim". She also said that even in the family, when father doesn't respect mother, that does create an impact on the kids. She said the media should spread awareness about the police helpline and mobile app. so that everyone could download it. Asked about increasing cases of eve teasing, GANGRAPE and other crimes and why there wasn't any WOMEN'S Commission in Chandigarh, Kher said that when the city had a WOMAN MP, a woman SSP, and a WOMAN mayor, then what was the need of Mahila Ayog. " I am there... Women can come to me..." she said.

Kher's comments came days after a 22-year-old woman from Dehradun was GANG-RAPED allegedly by three men after she took an autorickshaw while returning from a stenography class from Sector 37 in Chandigarh. Do you think her shocking remark appears to indicate that the victim is also to be blamed for the crime against her since the crime could have been avoided had she not boarded the auto with his two accomplices? Is the administration also at fault because there is no bus service from Sector 37 to Mohali at that hour even after 70 years of independence?

Teacher in Sambhal arrested for SEXUALLY MOLESTING student in school.

UTTAR-PRADESH, A case of SEXUAL MOLESTATION of an 11- year old by a primary school teacher in Sambhal has emerged.The incident took place in Thana Rajpura area of Sambhal district. It is alleged that the student of class 4 was called by the accused teacher Kailash Chandra, in the pretext of feeding sweets in his office. He then began touching her inappropriately. The little GIRL started yelling because of which the teacher had to let go of her.The GIRL went home and narrated the entire incident to her parents.
