Four people kill woman after she resists RAPE bid in Shamli

SHAMLI,

A 23-yr-old woman died after she was allegedly attacked by four people for resisting their attempt to RAPE her at her house in Shamli district, police said on Monday.They said the alleged incident took place on Sunday, when the woman was alone at her home in the Bhura village which falls under the Kairana Police Station.According to a complaint lodged by the woman’s brother, the four men entered their house and tried to rape his sister. They attacked her when she resisted, he said in the complaint.Police said the woman had received serious injuries and was rushed to a hospital where the doctors declared her dead.The police have registered a case against the four people and investigation is on, according to SHO Dharmender Singh.The body has been sent for post-mortem.

A woman is not safe even within the four walls of her own home.Is it a crime to be  born a girl ?When will this violence against women stop?

Teacher in Sambhal arrested for SEXUALLY MOLESTING student in school.

UTTAR-PRADESH, A case of SEXUAL MOLESTATION of an 11- year old by a primary school teacher in Sambhal has emerged.The incident took place in Thana Rajpura area of Sambhal district. It is alleged that the student of class 4 was called by the accused teacher Kailash Chandra, in the pretext of feeding sweets in his office. He then began touching her inappropriately.
