The Murder of seven year old Pradyuman Thakur

Who was found murdered in his school washroom in Gurugram ,the school authorities, the administration ,the parents and society at large has waken up now and taking steps to ensure safety of students in the school. Why do we all wait for the mishap to happen before we become alert? Everyone  is discussing about the measures which should have been taken to prevent this tragedy. Each of the stake holders donot mind putting blame on  one another and trying to shun away from their responsibility.
It is not the time to discuss what could have been done ,who is at fault but it is the time for taking action by everyone who is concerned about the safety of children. Proper safety measures should be taken  in the buses, inside the school premises ,proper security checks at the entry, precautions by the vigilant teachers and school administration including properly working CCTVs at the crucial points, deployment of female sweepers in the primary wing, periodical orientation and counselling sessions for driver conductors,peons,gardeners,watchmen and support staff about the safety and security of children are some of the measures those can be undertaken . Parents should also ensure that these steps are taken by the school.
The Gurugram incident is  an eye opener for all of us. Let it not be ignored after an initial hue and cry for some days and then forgotten. The safety and security of children is the responsibility of all elders and we all must take it seriously. We have to bring back the reputation of educational institutions as a temple of education not a den of devils!

Teacher in Sambhal arrested for SEXUALLY MOLESTING student in school.

UTTAR-PRADESH, A case of SEXUAL MOLESTATION of an 11- year old by a primary school teacher in Sambhal has emerged.The incident took place in Thana Rajpura area of Sambhal district. It is alleged that the student of class 4 was called by the accused teacher Kailash Chandra, in the pretext of feeding sweets in his office. He then began touching her inappropriately. The little GIRL started yelling because of which the teacher had to let go of her.The GIRL went home and narrated the entire incident to her parents. The family filed a complaint against the accused teacher, who was later arrested by the police. It is need of the hour to teach minor GIRLS about good touch and bad touch.
