Rape charge in letter to PM : Right panel team visits Sonipat Schools

A team of the Haryana State Commission for Protection of Child Rights (HSCPCR) led by Sunita Devi, a member of the panel, today inspected the security arrangements at Om Public School in Gohana and interacted with the staff members and students.

A student of the school had written a letter to the Prime Minister alleging that she was allegedly being sexually exploited by two employees of the school by showing her a video on mobile phone. She had brought the matter to the notice of her class incharge but to no avail. Copies of the complaint were also sent to the President and the CM.
A case in this connection was registered at the City police station in Gohana. The accused, Karambir and Sukhbir, were detained on Saturday evening.

Sunita Devi pointed out that Karambir commuted from his native village Murlana in school bus. “Students who travel in the school bus will be counselled on Monday,” she said, adding that the bus driver and the conductor would also be questioned.

Kuldeep Deswal, SHO, City police station, along with Kamlesh, SHO, Mahila police station, Khanpur Kalan, and Rajiv Singh, incharge, SIT Gohana, also met students and other staff members and enquired about the matter.

Deswal said the accused had been detained but not arrested. The identity of the victim too had not been established yet.

Meanwhile, school director Nirmal Lather refuted the girl’s allegations and suspected it to be a ploy to defame the institution.

Teacher in Sambhal arrested for SEXUALLY MOLESTING student in school.

UTTAR-PRADESH, A case of SEXUAL MOLESTATION of an 11- year old by a primary school teacher in Sambhal has emerged.The incident took place in Thana Rajpura area of Sambhal district.
