Chandrababu Naidu to be guardian of 9-year-old Guntur RAPE survivor.

ANDHRA- PRADESH, Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Saturday announced that he will act as guardian of the nine-year-old GIRL, who was allegedly RAPED by a 60-year-old rickshaw puller in Guntur, and bear all expenses of her education. After calling on the victim at government-run hospital in Guntur town, he said he would provide his personal money for her education till she achieves her goal in the life. Naidu said while the GIRL’S parents would do their duty, he would ensure best education for her with all facilities.The state government has already announced Rs 5 lakh compensation to the family of the victim. Naidu on Saturday announced that another Rs 5 lakh would be made fixed deposit in the GIRL’S name. Stranger MOLESTES 9-yr-old playing in park.

GURUGRAM, A man in his 50s has been booked for allegedly MOLESTING a nine-year-old GIRL when she was playing in a park near her house at Maruti Vihar in Chakkarpur village on Tuesday.The GIRL immediately rushed home and told her mother about the incident, but the accused had fled by then. According to police, the GIRL was playing in the park around 7.20pm when an unknown person in his 50s approached her and started talking to her. He then allegedly touched her inappropriately and tried to coax her into going with him. Scared, the GIRL ran home and told her mother about the incident. Her mother came to the park with her to confront the man, but he had already fled. NEW DELHI, Delhi Commission for WOMEN (DCW) chairperson Swati Maliwal on Thursday wrote to Prime Minister Narendra Modi urging him to take action against people communalising RAPE. Strict action should be taken against those communalising RAPES, said Ms. Maliwal. A special task force comprising representatives from Centre, States and judiciary should create a plan within 15 days..., she added. Chandigarh: DLSA gave Rs 1.99 crore relief to 82 RAPE survivors in past five years.

CHANDIGARH, As recent as in March 2018, two rape victims, whose cases were reported in 2014, were granted Rs 10 lakh compensation each. As recent as in March 2018, two RAPE victims, whose cases were reported in 2014, were granted Rs 10 lakh compensation each. .The District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) of Chandigarh has given a total relief of around Rs 1.99 crore to 82 RAPE survivors, including 50 minors, under Victim Assistance Scheme in the past five years. As per an official figure of the DLSA, 32 WOMEN, aged above 18 years, have been granted a total compensation of of Rs 48 lakh till date since 2013, while the remaining 50 minor RAPE victims have been awarded with a total compensation of Rs 1.51 crore. The Maharashtra State Child Rights Protection Commission on Wednesday, launched the Child Helpline for Information on Rights and Address Grievances (Chirag). MADHYA-PRADESH, An 8-year-old specially-abled GIRL was allegedly RAPED and MURDERED in Madhya Pradesh's Dindori.
